Certified SAEF was started by a group of Academic and Medical Colleagues in 2000. The first Annual Meeting of Certified SAEF was held at the Experimental Biology Conference in San Diego, California. The main objective of this Non-Profit Organization was to build a Network of Scientists with Expertise and Experience in the Safety & Efficacy Testing of natural health products. This network continues to share information on current and future projects and collaborates on numerous experiments. We also support positive regulatory changes by government agencies around the world, develop testing methods to detect banned substances, promote education on healthy body composition and natural health products.

In the last 10 years, The Research Team at Certified SAEF has evolved into an extensive network of Doctors & Scientists who perform research in one of our Research Centres, or at Universities, Hospitals & Private Laboratories Worldwide. The Certified SAEF logo is fast becoming recognized as the Highest Standard for Supplement Certification Worldwide by Scientists, Sport Governing Bodies, National Retail Chains, and Athletes & Coaches.
